Izabela is an interior designer based in London and Central Scotland with nearly 15 years track record of making clients happy! She is driven by her desire to combine her architectural training with her creative flair and passion for design. Whether it is modern or traditional, minimalist of maximalist, your style is intrinsic to her design solutions.
Since completing her Interior Architecture honours degree, she has converted houses into homes and transformed even the most uninspiring rooms into magical spaces. Izabela designed this two-bedroom apartment set in a contemporary development in West End of Glasgow. The brief for this unique property was to enhance the spacious interiors and to source the bespoke fitted joinery, furniture, lighting and soft furnishings. This design aimed to create a sense of escapism in an otherwise busy and stressful city. The bold colours and minimalistic approach give the property an immense sense of space whilst also allowing its identity to burst through.

A complete refurbishment of this basement open plan living space, left only the exterior walls untouched. We were responsible for the full interior architecture, bespoke joinery and soft furnishings throughout this space. Opening out the property on the beautifully designed garden, maximised the living space. The house was layered with bespoke soft furnishings, unique finishes and a muted colour palette to create both a functional and luxurious retreat.

Creating interiors for this luxury listed property meant working hand in hand with Victorian Heritage. Whilst respecting the design of the building and creating an interior that enhances the architecture, Izabela also had to ensure that the home would meet the modern needs of its residents. Working in the classic contemporary style means understanding the heritage of the property, ensuring that the interiors are seamlessly linked to the history of the area, the property, and its architecture. In this residential project, Izabela selected a muted colour palette, enriched with warm tones, carefully positioned antique decorative lighting and bespoke furniture with a mix of unique finishes adding an unrivalled luxury to the space.
